Projects
Groups & folders
When you have a lot of projects, groups (folders) keep the dashboard tidy. A group is a labeled folder on the dashboard, in the spirit of app folders on a phone home screen: open it to see the projects inside, collapse it to keep the grid short.
Creating and filling groups
- Create a group and give it a name.
- Add projects to a group by dragging a card onto the folder, from the group’s own view, or from the bulk bar.
- Move a project between groups the same way; drag it out to ungroup it.
Projects that aren’t in any group stay loose on the dashboard alongside the folders.
Arranging
- Drag to reorder — arrange both groups and loose projects in the order you want; the layout is saved and persists across restarts.
- Filter — the dashboard filter narrows what’s shown; groups still frame the results.
Bulk actions
Select multiple projects to act on them at once:
- Select all from the bulk bar to grab everything currently shown.
- Move the selection into a group, or apply a bulk action, in one step.
Everything stays local
Groups are just a way to arrange your own dashboard — like the rest of Granspace’s data, they live in the local database on your machine. See Organizing for stage, purpose, tags and favorites.
